Klout Score

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>What does Klout Score mean ?

The Klout Score was a website, as well as a mobile Applikation (App). This tried with the help of social media Analytics to evaluate their users by the Klout Score (= numerical value between 1 and 100) according to the social influence on the Internet. In determining the user score, Klout measured the volume (size) of a user’s social network. The content was then put into context. This was necessary for measuring how other users engage with the content.

Klout used data for this to create Klout user profiles from:

  • Bing
  • Facebook
  • Foursquare
  • Google+
  • Instragram
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Wikipedia

Klout scores ranged from 1 to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a higher ranking of the breadth and strength of one’s online social influence. While all Twitter users were assigned a score, users who registered with Klout could link multiple social networks, whose network data was then aggregated to influence the user’s Klout score.
